Feed the Monster Rhythm Regular Note Style Mini Bundle (Boom Cards)

Your students will have a lot of fun feeding these Halloween themed “monsters.” Students are asked to match the rhythm patterns included in this bundle (ta and ti-ti, quarter rest, half note and sixteenth notes) with the sound pattern they hear. Boom Cards (digital task cards) are great for whole class instruction (especially beginning and/or end of class activity), make a great station for your learning centers (use with iPads, Chromebooks or on your SmartBoards), as work for early finishers and/or for differentiation, for assigning a deck as “homework” and/or as part of your blizzard bag work. *You will need a Boom Learning account to access the digital task cards.

Step 1) Students press the sound icon and listen to various patterns. Step 2) Next they select the correct pattern (in stick notation) and feed it (slide it) into the character’s mouth. Step 3) Finally the students select “submit” to see if their choice was correct or not.
