Students create their own individual quilt or work as a group to complete a larger quilt (to hang on your wall). You will need the latest Adobe software to open this pdf. For the individual quilt worksheets students fill in the answers on the worksheet and then coloring the blocks on the “quilt.” As your students listen to a recording of your choosing (not included) to represent this country, students answer:
❤ Title of the song
❤ Genre/Style
❤ Form
❤ Instruments they hear
For the larger group quilt there is also an “Interesting Facts” block
Included in this resource are the following:
☆ 40 page variations of the individual quilt worksheet (you can have your students each fill out and color a different one!)
☆ 31 quilt blocks (approximately 5 inches) so students can work in groups or as a while class to create a larger quilt. A blank (or empty) block is also included so you can have your students design their own, include your own vocabulary words or your own criteria. Directions (911) are also included to help aid you.
You can hang the finished quilt(s) on your classroom wall, in the hallway or help to decorate for an upcoming concert!
