Description
Your students can demonstrate their knowledge of ta ti-ti (quarter note/beamed eighth notes) and quarter rest rhythmic patterns by creating and composing their own patterns with this digital Google Slides set. The set makes a great digital assessment and can be used in a variety of ways such as centers in a regular face to face classroom situation (it frees you up to walk around the room and assist your kiddos), whole group learning, blended learning, and distance learning. For you to access this resource, you will need to make a copy of the original file in your Google Drive.
Students simply slide the rhythmic notation into the digital beat boxes, then point/say and clap/say their creations. If your school provides recording apps such as screencastify for your students they could even record themselves performing their creations! Beat boxes are provided for 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 and 5/4 meters/time signatures. In addition one measure and two measure composing slides as well as Kodaly and regular notation versions are also included in this resource. I have provided some how-to help/suggestions for you as well.
